If you look at other resume writers doing what I do, they charge $75, $150, and sometimes hundreds of dollars just for a consultation! A consultation is a cherry on top of what I provide, and the last part is where I give personalized tips and notes. The bulk of my time is spent editing and rewriting people’s resumes so that they don’t have to think and do that work themselves, and it’s just $5! I believe that the best way to transition into a field like IT that requires experience for entry-level jobs… is to take the initiative and give myself that experience by helping those who can’t afford to shell out hundreds in cash for simple resume services when many of them themselves are struggling and searching for a job.
